26/10/05 - René returns?! Some people have started to think that the "René Era" is over. We don't blame them, seeing as René moved to Texas, Gilles is gone to Québec city and the power struggles between Leo and René were becoming too obvious to hide from the public. However what these people forget is the essence of René. That essence, or "essence" (in french) which fuels René-Claude, is music. No conflict can be big enough, no distance can be far enough to keep these five guys from doing what they do best. That's what the boys are trying to prove as they set out to do one of the most technically difficult things they've attempted in their musical careers: making and recording a song with the leader of the band being a couple of thousand miles away. This will be no easy task. This is a challenge that can be linked to the first man to set foot on the moon. René feels he has taken a step in the right direction by taking on a big project like this. And that's one small step for René, one giant leap for the music world. 15/06/05 - René-Claude on MySpace After much of their begging and pleading (the fine folks at MySpace) René has agreed to allow MySpace to make a site there in the honor of René-Claude, and we have to admit, it's not too shabby. After spending over 4 months in the studio, René-Claude delivers a product that does not disappoint. The title track of the album has finally been finished and the result is something that could possibly blow everything that René has done in the past out of the water! For all of you out there who can't get enough of René-Claude, he's got a new song out! Entitled "Pour Une Elle" this new hit is sure to meet the needs of the René fans. As a bonus you can now download all the songs FROM THE SITE! That's right, no more staying up all night hoping that Simon gets online in order to ask him for the new song. As if that wasn't enough, the song section now also features all of the lyrics to the songs. 19/12/04 - René is back! Well it's the season again and René-Claude decided to give his fans an extra special present by giving them a brand new hit. "L'Écran des étoiles d'ailleurs" has been recorded. Perhaps the greatest of all René-Claude songs. Also as a bonus, a preview of the cover for the upcoming Renéssance album.  31/10/04 - Celebrate Halloween with René What better halloween is there than a brand new hit single by the one and only René-Claude. "Un Bon de Rigolage" has been released on mp3. Simply ask Gilles and he'll gladly send it to you. Here's a special René Claude message for all you fans: "Salut les fans de René-Claude. Je veux vous souhaiter un bon d'Halloween avec un bon portion de bonbons. Checkez notre new 'it, 'un bon de rigolage', surement vous ne serez pas déçu. Ben, c'est ca." - René-Claude 30/10/04 - God LOVES René-Claude What first seemed like a disaster turned into a huge success as René-Claude and company recorded "Un Bon de Rigolage" which turned out to be much better than the previously lost version yesterday due to the presence of Leo. Therefore, God was really doing René-Claude a favor by making the computer freeze. 29/10/04 - God hates René-Claude René-Claude was just on the brink of completing his third success when God himself froze the computer which contained the unsaved file. Therefore, all was lost. It seems God is getting jealous of René-Claude immense popularity. But worry not, even the holy one can not stop René and his music. Mark our words, we shall have our revenge! As René put it "Esti qu'ca m'fais chier" - René-Claude 24/10/04 - René-Claude Has Gone Mad!! After releasing the hit ballad "Ce soir" René-Claude seems to have released his anger in his new single "Le Champs". This new song is more intense than anything on the market today, just look at the picture below if you wanna see how intense René can get.
